Our Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) approved Dangerous Goods by Air certification training course is for any person that is engaged in the handling and shipping of dangerous goods by Air.
Learn how to prepare packages and the transport document to International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Air to IATA requirements.
It will provide learners with the skills and knowledge required to correctly pack, mark and label and prepare shipments of dangerous goods for transport by air and covers the 9 Hazard classes.
The course concludes with a validation test. Successful candidates receive a certificate in shipping dangerous goods by Air, which is valid for two years, after which you must re-validate your qualification.
If you already hold Dangerous Goods by Air certification and are requiring revalidation prior to the expiry date you can undertake Dangerous Goods by Air refresher training.
Learning Objectives- Correctly prepare a consignment of dangerous goods for air transportation
- Adhere to practices and standards regarding acceptance and responsibilities for the preparation and handling of goods for air transportation
- Validate whether a consignment has been prepared correctly for air transportation (forwarders & carriers)
There are no pre-requisites but it is always handy to have some base knowledge from a dangerous goods awareness or an understanding of what type of products that you will be dealing with in your business.

ADR is The Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road, it is a framework agreed by all states in Europe for the safe transportation of goods that can be hazardous to man, property and the environment.
This 3.5 Day course is for Drivers that require an ADR qualification for the transport of dangerous goods in packages.
Learning ObjectivesThis course covers:
Core Module - principles of carrying dangerous goods correctly and safely and the properties of the classes of goods being carried.
Hazard Classes covered: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 & 9
During the ADR training, students will not only be tested on their theoretical understanding, but will undergo 3 practical exercises including:
- What to do in an emergency
- Use of Fire extinguishers
- Basic Emergency first aid
ADR training consists of different modules, depending on the dangerous goods being carried; all courses must include the core module and can then be supplemented by specific class or vehicle type ADR training.
